Spice box is a place where we can organize and store his/her favourite spices,they use in their day to day cooking. When it was originally introduced it had 5 compartments in the box hence in Tamil we call it as ” Aindhu Arai Petti” means box with five rooms. Though it is “Aindhu Arai Petti” these boxes can have more compartments like 7 to 28 compartments. Almost every south Indian,will have this one in their kitchen
This authentic box was originally made of wood but today they are available in stainless steel,with individually engraved spice canisters.Each canister has its own small spoon tool.

- Fenugreek seeds(vendhayam)
- Chilly powder
